And we also obtained agencies of global Italian and European Companies (Alberto Sassi, PFB, NLC, CIMEX, Savera, and Metal Press) to achieve a quantum leap in terms of engines and motors, as the mentioned Companies are considered the best in the world of elevators.
Our Company continued to grow in the field of elevators and escalators and we expanded our business to include Kurdistan Region Cities that had witnessed noticeable progress in the last years regarding construction and reconstruction, the biggest and most projects were executed in Kurdistan. Also that increased the expertise of our technician staff which became one of the most experienced staff in this field, referring to the pure Iraqi expertise.

Since Ardh AlRafidain started we were always dedicated to accuracy, high efficiency at work and absolute commitment to deadlines and keep up with the progress. Despite the simplicity of the company, since our beginning we have had high technical possibilities in terms of capability and competence which matched the capabilities of large well-known companies in this field.
In the year 1996 we have had contracting agreements with many companies for several years during which the we achieved and completed major projects in Iraq such as Elevator Project of Baghdad Tower with a height of 120 meters, and in the same year we made a huge step in expanding with our projects towards the outside of Iraq, and we accomplished many projects in some Arabic countries such as Jordan, UAE, and Yemen. And our efforts resulted in new contract agreements with globally known Turkish Companies and we became the exclusive agents in Iraq, and according to these agreements we executed more than 150 elevator projects in all Iraq.
In the year 1974 was our very simple beginning as Ardh Alrafidain Company, in an office of about 24 square meters and four technicians only.
As the activities of the company increased and expanded, the number of employees has expanded as well, and the company’s business has extended outside the scope of the capital Baghdad, heading to all provinces by 1989, and we have made a quantum leap in terms of the large number of workers to be able to keep up with the requirements of that time, and we have made a huge potentials to accomplish some major projects that were considered preserved for foreign and international companies.

In the year 2001 we made new contracting agreements and acquired new agencies with international European Companies, and we imported many elevators for the Capital Baghdad at first, and then to all the southern Cities, then we started to move towards the northern Cities and that expanded our projects as there was growing construction activities in that region, and we executed many huge projects in Erbil, Sulaymaniah and Duhok, the construction also included Najaf and Karbala Cities more than the rest of the southern Cities considering the religious importance of them and the blooming religious tourism.
